ShitHead - Cards Game App

BACKGROUND

Project Overview

ShitHead it's a card game I learned to play during a four-month journey in the East. For me, this game held sentimental value and camaraderie. We could sit all night playing this game together. Upon returning home, the cards almost always accompanied me whenever I met friends. So, I decided to conceptualize and design a mobile app for the game

The Process

User Research

The primary goal of my research was to tailor it for two personas - young individuals with unforgettable memories of the game from their trip and older adults who enjoy card games. Consequently, the user experience needed to be engaging for the younger demographic and straightforward and easy to operate for the older persona. So, I decided to conceptualize and design a mobile app for the game

Daniel is a 26-year-old marketing manager who returned from a trip after completing his military service two years ago. In the army, he served as a combat soldier in Golani. He went on a trip to South America with his best friend immediately afterward and discovered the card game "ShitHead". He bought himself a deck of cards during the trip and has since managed to teach new people he met during the travel

Gila enjoys maintaining a structured daily routine, where she goes to the market to buy vegetables, prepares a simple lunch, and then relaxes in the living room until the evening. She spends her time watching Turkish soap operas and playing card games on her mobile phone

User Flow Architecture

The user flow architecture was created to organize and structure the app and the features in it to make a friendly use

Paper Wireframes

After I know exactly which pages I need for the application, I start sketching a rough and imprecise draft on paper to transfer all the ideas from my mind to my hand. This action helps me later in building the actual wireframes because I already know what each wireframe should entail
